      Love this series! The time jumps (back in time) are a little annoying, but necessary for the story, so you just get used to them! Again, loved all of these books!

      I’m glad that I finally started listening to this book. It took me forever. I read Corrupt and I never continued the series. I’m glad that I finally did. I absolutely enjoyed listening to it. It’s freaking good. Love that we get glimpses of Michael and Rika. Next book please!!

      I said it for the first book and I’ll say it for this one! This book is more than the sex scenes! This book kept me on my toes. I needed to know what was going to happen next all while wanting to know what happened in the past. I recommend it. On to book 3!

      I was anticipating so much Kai's book and sadly I was disappointed. I mean I did like it, I didn't love it because there's too if you know whom if you have read it.
      Anyway tho was a shame not to have as much as I wanted from Kai, I did enjoy getting to see a lil bit more of him. I love his personality he is the ideal book boyfriend, he is intelligent , knows what he wants and he goes for it, he doesn't like to play games like the rest of the guys. He is loving, caring I just love him and again I'd have LOVED to have more of him and less of the creep ?

      I listened to this on Audiobook and enjoyed this dark twisted, romantic suspense following Kai and Banks. The audiobook narration is great!

      From the first book I felt Kai was my favourite so I was so happy when I found out this second book is based on Kai and the mysterious love interest Banks. I love the flashbacks we see into the past with regards to Devils Night it keeps the plot and the mystery going. Kai as a character I love as he opened up due to some past flashbacks and struggles he was having. I love when there is a tough lead character but also sensitive. Banks was a fire cracker, for how she gets treated by her family she dresses in baggy clothes and I would say not as “put together” as she doesn’t want to be noticed definitely doesn’t want her secrets of who she really is revealed.

      The spice was great and the scene in the confessional. Lord have mercy I say!

      Excited to see what the next book has to offer.

      i loooooved this one!!

      i adore kai, and i really loved banks. i thought she was just so much more enjoyable to read about than rika, she was tough and interesting and i liked that she didnt come across as effortlessly gorgeous with the body of a model (like rika smh)

      i thought the dual timelines was much better done here, as well as the two different povs
