“We’re in a new Golden Age of suspense writing now, because of amazing books like Bring Me Back, and I for one am loving it.” —Lee Child
She went missing. He moved on. A whole world of secrets remained—until now.
Finn and Layla are young, in love, and on vacation. They’re driving along the highway when Finn decides to stop at a service station to use the restroom. He hops out of the car, locks the doors behind him, and goes inside. When he returns Layla is gone—never to be seen again. That is the story Finn told to the police. But it is not the whole story.
Ten years later Finn is engaged to Layla’s sister, Ellen. Their shared grief over what happened to Layla drew them close and now they intend to remain together. Still, there’s something about Ellen that Finn has never fully understood. His heart wants to believe that she is the one for him...even though a sixth sense tells him not to trust her.
Then, not long before he and Ellen are to be married, Finn gets a phone call. Someone from his past has seen Layla—hiding in plain sight. There are other odd occurrences: Long-lost items from Layla’s past that keep turning up around Finn and Ellen’s house. Emails from strangers who seem to know too much. Secret messages, clues, warnings. If Layla is alive—and on Finn’s trail—what does she want? And how much does she know?
A tour de force of psychological suspense, Bring Me Back will have listeners questioning everything and everyone until its stunning climax.

- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5I wanted to like this book, but I found it annoying. I really got into part one, but part two and three were not great. Reading it was like juggling balls and constantly waiting for one to drop so the pain of continuing would end. The only character I liked was the dog, Peggy. 2/5 stars

- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5This book just made me very angry. Each character kept declaring how much they loved the others , then turned around and did the most hurtful things, and lied to the one they loved so much. Just not a pleasant book at allow

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5A constant and slowly growing tension throughout the whole book. Even when the book is finished, I am still playing the what ifs in my head.

- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5It was okay. Intetesting start. Very boring middle. Ridiculous ending.

- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5This book dragged on! I got tired of the protagonist ten minutes in. His reaction to stressful situations become so obviously predictable. I figured out the ending half way through the book. Moral of the story: don't be quick to make assumptions. Also, the stupid Russian dolls gahhhasjdhhdjfjfjfn!!!

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5EXCELLENT READ!!! (An even better listen.) Kept me guessing until the end.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5This seemed to start slow, but I am SO glad I stuck with it. It was unlike any other book I had every read. :)
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Definitely a page turner but dragged on a bit at the end. I was disappointed by the ending.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5i just could not stop. loved the narrators and the story kept you on the edge the entire time. what a roller coaster ride!
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5This is the second book I listened to by B. A. Paris. The narrator's were both very good. I really liked Fin and I don't want to leave any spoilers but I would have liked a different ending for him. I was also glad nothing bad happened to Peggy because I am very sensitive about animals. From what little I know about the author she is an animal lover too and I like how she includes cats and dogs into her stories. I am really hooked on this author, sometimes you can see where she is going with the story but it never spoils the "big reveal".
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Good story, it seemed to drag on and I would loose interest at times, but in all a pretty good book
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5So many twists and turns! Exciting and wonderful read. Worth every minute
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5So bad, such a dumb premise. The characters are so annoying and if they mention ‘Russian Doll’ one more time ?♀️. Just no. And the ending? No. Don’t waste your time.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5A little ridiculous, & I guessed where the book was going, but still kept me at the edge of my seat! For a thriller, I think it did what it was supposed to. Not too pleased with the ending tho :-/
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5? ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 My second B.A. Paris book. Once again I loved it. For me I got a little bored with it. Towards the middle. Then it picked back up. Inways say I'm good about figuring out the end of a book before the middle. However this one had me guessing. ?
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Interesting plot— main character a bit hard for me to sympathize with
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Loved this book! So many twists and turns. Kept me on the edge of my seat and kept me guessing.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Narration: I really liked the cadence of the narrators speech pattern. As an American, I sometimes have a hard time understanding a thick British or Irish accent but I had no trouble here.
Story: Very well written, I had to listen again to the last two chapters make sure I got all the details.
*SPOILER: I love at end that he doubts his love for her. It’s like, why did he bother? - Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Good narration and story line. I was not expecting the end and it kept me guessing all the way through.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5It had me going in circles but it was a good read. A bit far fetched but it was decent
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5This book drags on a bit in the middle, but it's an intriguing story overall that keeps you guessing until the end.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5What a book!!!! Such a mind twister! It started off a little slow but it got so good I couldn’t stop reading!
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5It was a good book, just not as edge of my seat as I was hopeful for.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Very confusing…I had to listen to the ending a couple of times to figure out what happened … once I got it I thought it was an impossible story line and this story could not happen in a modern world…but I realized it’s fiction and anything can happen so I just went with it understood it and accepted it.
Narration was excellent which also makes a lame story better and pleasant to listen to. If not for the terrific narrators I would not have taken the time to understand the story. - Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5It was very interesting. It kind of kept me captive I have to admit. I wanted it to be over but I couldn’t stop listening.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5An amazing book and an amazing narrative.
The story is full with twists and mystery that I could wait to finish the story.
But I have to applaud the exquisite narrative of this book. It keep the mood and thrills of it.
Good Job !!!! - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5couldn't stop ...had to keep going until the end...and holy cow the ending!!!
