Very good read!! I enjoyed the pace and character development with a plot thats sadly more fact than fiction describing the Western world oligarchy. On to book 2!!

Great government agency /spy adventure!Set in current times, addressing some current situations with current technology. I loved that it was written with enough information about the technology to inform the technologically challenged, but not so much that it was boring by any means. The situations were tense, and it was apparent that both sides had those who were at the top of their game. I liked when previous co-conspirators were pitted against one another with enough insight to outguess the other's intentions. It made for more edge of your seat tension.Glad I read this, and will read more of this author's work. Also, one of the best female protagonists ever!Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for my copy of this book.

A really good read. Plenty of action and introduced new characters to the Tom Gray usuals. Also raised a new organisation that of the ESO which run most areas of the globe!! An exciting story which leads on easily to the next book which I am now reading.

I thoroughly enjoyed Run and Hide by Alan McDermott and was hooked from the first chapter. If you enjoy fast-paced action and shoot-em-up movies, you'll enjoy this story.Eva Driscoll, a former CIA assassin, teams up with the sole survivor of her brothers' special clandestine team to avenge the murder of her brother. Together, they solicit the help of a computer expert and two former special forces soldiers who, together, evade a litany of forces that are after them to collect a huge monetary bonus. The team discovers a top-secret, special group of trillionaires who have most people in power in their back pockets, to be responsible for killing the brother and issuing the hit on Eva's team. The author does a wonderful job at setting up impossible roadblocks throughout the story to intercept Eva's team for elimination. However, Eva always thinks of a solution and is able to evade capture. Can they continue to remain outside of their grasp? Who will die? The book is engaging and will keep you up late at night wondering how they were going to escape this particular time. I will be downloading the next book in the series to see how the story progresses. Great job Mr. McDermott.

Run and Hide by Alan McDermott is your classic government conspiracy theory suspense novel.

    What I liked:

I liked the pace of the novel - it was nice and quick.
I DID actually like the whole conspiracy theory part - as conspiracy theories go, this one was actually rather believable.
    What I didn’t like

None of the characters had ANY personality. They were all just really flat stereotypes of the people they were supposed to be. The Gun, The Nerd, The Brains, The Backup and The Double Agent.
In short - this would be a great beach read if these are the kind of books that you’re into.

    Happy Reading!
