Reviews for A Pocketful of Hope For Mothers

- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5A sweet book for new moms that combines Bible verses, encouraging quotes, and journal entries from the author's own time as a new mom. "Lord, speak to me in the cavern of my heart where darkness has hemmed me in. I'm so, so tired. Speak to me in the corners of my thoughts where I have become a hoarder of fears. Is he breathing? Is he breathing? Is he breathing? Speak to me in the cacophony of infant cries and dryer buzzes and microwave beeps. I don't even know what day it is. Speak to me, Father. Tell me it's going to be all right. Tell me I'm going to make it. I'm not alone. You're with me. Always with me. Always with us."
