- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Dr. William Sears (our pediatrician) recommended this book - it's excellent
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Tremendously helpful when dealing with a sick child --This book gave me the confidence to question my pediatrician knowledgeably, and to trust my own judgment caring for my daughter. I followed Dr. Mendelsohn's advice, and my daughter was rarely sick. She did not miss more than four days of school being sick during elementary and middle school years. She's now a college graduate, and still has a robust immune system -- even though she was born prematurely and designated "at risk."Along with Dr. Spock's "Baby and Child Care," this book helped me to raise a healthy and happy kid.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Essential reading for those wanting to raise their child without all the usual Western medical junk like antibiotics all the time.
