About this audiobook

Gwen Alexandra does not need a man in her life. Especially not a man who looks like Chris Hemsworth and Joe Manganiello's love child. One wearing leather, riding a Harley, and covered in tattoos.

Gwen can bet every pair of her Manolos that Cade Fletcher is trouble. From the moment she meets him, the attraction sizzles between them. Gwen has a problem when it comes to attractive men in motorcycle clubs. The last one she got involved with almost killed her.

After healing physically, Gwen decides to get a new start in a small town, half a country away from the man who nearly cost her her life. She isn't in town five minutes when she runs into Cade, a man that is too sexy and dangerous for his own good.

She tries to keep away from him, to ignore the attraction between them. But the biker has other ideas; soon she is in way over her head, and her heart and her life are in danger once again.

Contains mature themes.

This book had the potential to be awesome. It failed on so many levels!! The woman needed to have a little more balls, and the mention of old lady, and old man is so cleche! Will not be listening to the rest of the series.

Book 1, Sons of Templar series.
    Cade/Gwen
Love this series, and this author... Each book covers a longer amount of time (with jumps of days/weeks between chapters of down time, some while remembering some things to catch up and the overall series spans years) than most books like this which helps it not seem so insta love, it is insta lust however. While the characters don't actually give into that lust at the start, they do get there eventually... It is on the darker side of romance as most MC romance is, but the characters and the backstory are well developed... If a little brand obsessed... But no ones perfect.

"A little thing happened in the not so
    distant past Cade, something called
Feminism, which meant that women have
the right to do a lot of things, like vote, get equal pay oh and wear whatever the f*ck they want. There is no way I am letting anyone tell me what to wear, ever Cade. And if you wanted a timid ‘Old Lady’ who would don a full length f*cking burka at your request you’ve got the wrong one." -Gwen

While these books can technically be read as stand alone I do not recommend that! I recommend looking the author up online and the reading order of this series with the other 2 connected series (Unquiet Mind and Greenstone Security) that weave through this series timeline, for the overall story arch, if that is important to you. It was to me. I feel like you get much more from the story that way and a deeper connection to all of the other characters. Then following up these 3 series with the Sons of Templar: New Mexico series. This was another excellent story with a healthy dose of angst, these books are dark compared to most romance. Considering it is an MC romance I assume that most expect that going into it. You will either love them or hate them... I personally love them all so far! I really wish all of them were available here, unfortunately most of them are not. I am not even sure the other 3 series are even available in audio form... I have just read them and saved the audiobooks for times when I cant take the time to sit down with a book.
