- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I actually enjoyed this, just a shame Scribd doesn’t have the rest of the series on here. Bummer! I wouldn’t have even bothered, especially with how it ends so abruptly, hence the title of the next book.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5CAPTIVATING!!
That seems to be the right word. Within the 1st chapter or 2 is generally when I can tell whether or not i'm going to be interested in taking the time to read a book. With this book, I couldn't get enough. It took me all of 2 days to finish this book. I couldn't wait to read/hear what would happen in the next 2 books in this series.
One more thing I have to mention is that since this is an audio book, it's being read to you. Sometimes, with audio books, I may pass on them because the narrator of the book doesn't capture my attention. Sometimes, they're just boring with the way they're reading the words or the way they're speaking is just to mellow & would put me to sleep. A big thing for me is that if there are different people speaking, the way they speak should sound different. For example: If this guy is speaking or that girl or speaking or the mom speaking or the little child is speaking, they should all have different sounding voices. They all should NOT be generally sounding the same.
With that being said, the narrator to most Morgan Rice's books is Wayne Farrell. And I have to say that he is hands down "The Best" most entertaining, captivating, expressive, amazing narrator I have ever had the pleasure of listening to. He keeps you drawn into what is going on in the book. You can tell the difference from one character to another. Sometimes, you would even think that he wasn't the only person reading because the voice for different individuals is unique to that character, and the voice sounds the same throughout the whole book for the person.
Morgan rice did an amazing job not only with writing her amazing novels & series but also with choosing the right narrator that keeps her readers interested & coming back for more. - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Omg I made the mistake of starting this book at 11pm trying to fall asleep...BIG MISTAKE!! I was up until 3 am totally riveted to this story. The end is totally heart pounding emotion! Can't wait to start the second book!!
