About this audiobook
Regal romance abounds in this flirty, laugh-out-loud companion novel to Prince Charming, by New York Times bestselling author Rachel Hawkins.
Millie Quint is devastated when she discovers that her sort-of-best friend/sort-of-girlfriend has been kissing someone else. Heartbroken and ready for a change of pace, Millie decides to apply for scholarships to boarding schools . . . the farther from Houston the better.
Soon, Millie is accepted into one of the world's most exclusive schools, located in the rolling highlands of Scotland. Here, the country is dreamy and green; the school is covered in ivy, and the students think her American-ness is adorable.
The only problem: Mille's roommate Flora is a total princess.
She's also an actual princess. Of Scotland.
At first, the girls can't stand each other, but before Millie knows it, she has another sort-of-best-friend/sort-of-girlfriend. Princess Flora could be a new chapter in her love life, but Millie knows the chances of happily-ever-afters are slim . . . after all, real life isn't a fairy tale . . . or is it?
New York Times bestselling author Rachel Hawkins brings the feels and the laughs to her latest romance.

HELL YEAH BEECH - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I haven’t read a book this good in ages. It made me laugh until I cried and it made my cheeks and face hurt from smiling so much. It was a great story with lovable characters. The only negative is that it is too short. I didn’t want it to end and even procrastinated not wanting to read the end so it just wouldn’t end.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This is such a sweet story, and the narration was fantastic!

When is the movie coming out? This needs to be a movie!
This is an enemies-to-friends-to-lovers- romance between Amelia,an ordinary american girl and Fiona, the (fictional) Princess of Scotland. All set in a prestigous boardingschool in Scotland. I know. It could have been a disaster, and so so dumb. But Hawkins somehow made it work.
It was a big ball of cute, fluffy predictableness, and I mean that in the best way possible.
Hawkins's writing is sharp and witty. The dialouge and inner monolouges flow with an effortless charm that often made me think of Buffy the Vampire Slayer
The pacing and timing is perfection. I think this is teen chick-lit at its very best. No big surprises, but it was done so well. I am glad to see some good quality sapphic mainstream teen-lit hit the market:) Transcending its core audience, it is totally appropriate for children to read, and still entertaining for adults. My only complaints are that i found our main character Amelia less fleshed out than Fiona, the love interest, and that the book didn't take much advantage of the boardingschool setting, feels like a waste. But every minute of this was entertaining as hell, and so so cute!
So if you need an easy, quick feelgood- book in your life, look no further.1 person found this helpful
