About this audiobook

Get ready to lose yourself to the dark and glamorous underbelly of the Upper East Side with a brand-new romance from USA Today bestselling author K. A. Linde.

She was supposed to be a one-night stand. A way to sate my sexual appetite.

I let her glimpse the man I am. The face that I hide behind my carefully cultivated life. But she ripped open that divide-and there's no going back.

Now, she's here. In my city.

I don't care that I'm Manhattan royalty and she's the help. Only that she's living in my summer home. With me.

And I want more.

Contains mature themes.

I hate pen and all his friends so much that i couldn’t finish, i went all the way to the start of the epilogue and had to quit. I read Catherine’s book first so i know how things come together but after hearing this one i just hate her and pen. Natalie said it best that they ares just all so “stupid”.

This recording on Scribd has many annoying holes with missing parts unfortunately. Not sure what the that’s all about, but I’ve listened to multiple books on Scribd with this issue and I never have it on Audible.

This book was basically a retelling of Cruel Intentions except with an older group of people. It kept my attention enough to keep listening, but was just ok. I’ve been impressed with some other books by this author so I wanted to check out more of her work.

She is brought into the lifestyle of the rich and wealthy family that she works for. But she knows it her heart and love was played like it is nothing ? to their will.

Positives- characters are not stupid and resolve most issues BUT the book ends in cliffhanger, the female slaps the man (not ok =illegal in Australia) and for some one not in US, the use of money -v- class is not relevant (he is academic and removed and is meant to be more evolved by his area of study) and class system seems petty and baseless. For me it was ok, but appeared to be written for 2010, not in recent years. Have loved other books, esp the handling of Camden and Catherine (the author made me love her- although I hated her in this book).
