About this audiobook

What's the point of falling in love if it only breaks your heart?

I should be flying high. I've graduated from the best law school in the world, and I'm ready to start my career. So why do I feel like I'm holding the world on my shoulders instead of standing on top of it?

Oh, right. Him.

Bad boy. Billionaire. Larger-than-life Brandon Sterling. In a few short months, he became the sun to my universe, only to flip it upside down and inside out, leaving me to make the biggest decision of my life alone.

I don't want to miss him like I do. I don't want to love him like I do.

So the question is, when he comes back-if he comes back-will he forgive me for what I've done?

Contains mature themes.

I started his trilogy with the first book under Audible Plus, but the second book wasn’t available in the Plus catalog. I was thrilled to find it here! This is a fantastic series! Great writing and great narration! I can’t wait for book three! Must be read in order!

I love this series. I'm so heartbroken for Skylar. Brandon and Skylar have so many awful people in their lives. They have a few loyal and amazing people too. Can't wait for the final book.

Things don't stop happening and yet nothing actually happens. Manufactured drama is to be expected in romance but there are limits. And ludicrous villains beyond what can be imagined. Brandon and Skyler deserved better.

This was just as good as the first book - just as intense, just as emotional, and just as capable of holding my interest as I found myself invested in the characters and their happiness. The secondary characters are interesting as well, with their problems and unique personalities. I hope book three isn't too far off . . .
