About this audiobook

One night. One contract. One kiss, and Victor Newcomb will never be the same.

By age 24, Vic has accomplished more than most men achieve in a lifetime. Since childhood he's tried to be the perfect son, the perfect executive, the perfect heir-and as next in line for the throne of his father's multibillion dollar textile empire, he's made his life entirely about discipline and control.

But he doesn't know what discipline truly means-until he meets Amani Idrissi.

University student. Part-time masseuse. Cello virtuoso. The serene, reserved Moroccan American femme fascinates Vic with his cool allure, changing everything Vic thought he knew about power, about control, about his own sexuality. Yet when cello lessons turn into a business deal of an entirely different nature, Vic quickly realizes he'll pay anything for the chance to see Amani again. To submit to his touch.

To discover the complete and utter freedom in giving up control.

But the deeper Vic falls headlong into love, the more he realizes he doesn't know Amani at all. Secretive, withdrawn, Amani seems determined to keep their relationship strictly business.

Contains mature themes.

This is a great story. Very sexy and the bdsm twist to the story is well done. The characters are adorable and I loved it.

I rated the first book 4 stars, and I expected to like this one as well, but it just missed the mark for me. Vic was earnest and seemed like he was trying even when he sometimes didn't pull something off. But Amani was very hard on him anyway, largely for not already being more emotionally evolved/aware, even though Amani grew up being taught how to do that, and Vic's parents were pretty much anti-help in that regard. And if Amani *does* have some of that sense of self and understanding figured out already, then he has even less of an excuse for his own glaring flaws! He just seemed like a huge hypocrite, which was really off-putting. He's super insulted when Vic offers to pay him for cello lessons, like 'how dare a wealthy person be overly generous, he has his pride! but then spends most of the rest of the book charging him exorbitant fees at every opportunity. You can't have it both ways. You can't go on and on about how much you hate wealthy/entitled people and then demand $1,000 an hour just to sit and basically ignore the person. That's super dickish. After Vic actually consented to being dominated I didn't mind Amani's difficult responses as much, they had an arrangement that worked for both of them, fine. But I never did recover much liking for him. And kinda disliking one of the leads bled into not enjoying their dynamic as much as I would have, which just brought the whole thing down. I thought I could round up to a three, but in the end I just wanted it to be over.
