      I’ve been following Cory’s work for fifteen years for a reason. Simply put, I feel he is one of the great communicators of our time. I rely on him to help me understand complicated issues while telling a fantastic story. I’m more interested in his activism than authorship, but have yet to engage with his written work and come away anything but inspired. This book is no exception.

      I give 5 stars to 3 of the 4 novellas - I prefer superheroes in graphic novels, so I’m not qualified to review the 1 I didn’t finish reading.
      The other 3 seem so relevant to the times we live in and the choices we make - or will be making- every day. With the author’s great gift of grabbing you by the heart as well as imagination and intellect, we are drawn into what may seem like (black) mirrors reflecting glimpses of future realities, near and far.

      I had the privilege of knowing Cory as a teenager and could have told you then that he was an unstoppable force, after all we were radicalized together. (At least partially). I'm proud of those experiences and damned proud of my good friend and comrade! Tu malu malu!
