An evil harpy called Morg is sending her followers, the Midnights, into the kingdom to wreak havoc and pave the way for her to steal the Unmapped magic for herself. But Casper cannot turn a blind eye because the future of his own world, he discovers, is bound up with that of the Unmapped Kingdoms.

    Abi Elphinstone grew up in Scotland where she spent most of her childhood building dens, hiding in tree houses, and running wild across highland glens. After being coaxed out of her treehouse, she studied English at Bristol University and then worked as a teacher in Africa, Berkshire, and London. She is the author of the Dreamsnatcher trilogy and the Unmapped Chronicles, among other books for young readers, and the editor of anthology Winter Magic. When she’s not writing, Abi volunteers for the children’s literacy charity Coram Beanstalk, speaks in schools, and travels the world looking for her next story.       Reasonably good children's adventure story. The style is a bit laboured - we got bored of the lectures about being brave and the value of friendship after a while.

      This book is beautifully written. Alpha Elphinstone is good at planning brilliant books. Casper Tok is one of my favourite characters of hers. She makes lots of unlikely heroes which always change, to the good side at the end. I love her books. She better keep up the great work!I love her writing. And using Scribd!?
