- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Victor Frandsen’s Hygge: The Happy Danish Art of Life celebrates the joy found in simple pleasures and emphasizes the importance of education for women. The audio book takes listeners on a journey to Denmark, a country renowned for its cozy atmosphere and relaxed lifestyle.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This particular audiobook has plenty of fantastic content. I think the first couple of sections were my favorite ones, because the whole concept that the subtitle talks about, is described. All the essentials are here. Later on in the book, more depth gets included, and I think this is what makes it so good. There were a lot of points in this book that I didn't know up to now. I am glad I got it. It was worth my time, especially because I listened to it while I was driving to work.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Audiobooks such as these make me happy. They're terrific. I actually did not see anything bad about this book. If I am incorrect, then let me know about that. But I found it to be nearly perfect, and that's what made a difference to me. I didn't stop listening up until completion. That's how much I enjoyed it. I was pleased to hear the correct articulation of all the words by a proficient audiobook creator.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5This book is poorly written, as if it were a bunch of magazine articles put together in a book. There is much repetition ( the meaning of hygge, how to pronounce hygge, the fact that Denmark and Norway are the happiest countries, etc) In fact each chapter begins with these statements.
Maybe I learned a bit about hygge, but it was overshadowed by the redundancy.
