    Understanding what procrastination is

Procrastination is when you put off important things you should be focusing on at the moment in favour of doing things that are more enjoyable, or you are more comfortable doing.

Putting off an important task for a short period of time due a problem and not delaying it for too long isn’t considered procrastination. If you are simply making excuses to delay your work then that is definitely procrastination.

Procrastination occurs when there’s a significant time period between the intention taken to do a job and when it is actually completed.

Procrastination occurs when there exists a temporal gap between planned behaviour and endorsed behaviour".
