    Let me start by outlining why I wanted to do this and what prompted my actions.

    During my late forties I started to realize that what I wanted most in life was the freedom to do what I wanted to do when I wanted to do it. In my case that meant more time with family and friends, swimming, playing pool, travelling to warmer destinations, eating out, reading and working.

    Now that last item might come as a surprise but let me explain. Work for me means doing something that is challenging, enjoyable and which allows me to support my family in a decent manner. The problem was that I did not want to spend up to half the available hours each week just working. This left too little time for the other enjoyable activities that I described earlier.

    I started to dabble with internet marketing a few years ago and through a combination of writing, website building and affiliate marketing I earned around $5000 over three years. Not really life changing income but enough to..........................."
