    It was a mad world coz I couldn’t even get a fuckin’ job and the government wanted to stop me dole. I wanted one, mind ya – yeah, it wasn’t that I didn’t want work, coz I did. I knew ya had ya lazy cunts – the ones who’d bin on the rock ‘n roll for as long as they’d bin alive - but I could tell ya, I wasn’t one of ‘em.

    So there I was, goin’ to some meetin’ – well, it was more than a meetin’, coz it was a trainin’ session or summat. What the tosser had actually told me at the dole office was that I’d be learnin’ how to write a proper cv and conduct meself in interviews and stupid bollocks like that. Well, I’d bin told if I didn’t go, I wouldn’t get me dole money so
