About this ebook

Are you struggling with your waistline?
You are not alone!

... The world is full of contradictory nutritional information, people are confused more than ever. Do we eat red meat or not eat red meat, do we drink milk or not drink milk?

It is really hard to work out what we should be eating daily and what is in the best interest for us. Research is always proving things different over time, or it comes around again. A bit like fashion?

We generally want to eat better as a whole, but some times we want to enjoy some not so good stuff that tastes yummy anyway. So…. what to eat?

FEED THE BODY!

Anyone can tell you exactly what to eat. There are plenty of diet and nutritional books out there that are doing that.

I'm not going to do that. I haven't written this nutritional e-book just to tell you how and what to eat. It's written to help you make your own decisions, to get informed; to decide what is best for your body based on the information that is available to you; to help you make some sense out of all of the confusion out there in nutrition. Of course I do offer alternatives to you though, which can make a dramatic improvement to the way you look and feel.

The one thing I really want you to understand is that despite what a food or meal tastes like, despite how much energy it provides you, at the end of the day, the food you ingest daily has a primary aim. This number one aim is to provide your body with nourishment in order to feed all your cells in your body, to grow and heal and move.
Is what you're eating actually food or pretending to be food?

Our trillions of cells are functioning every second of the day, and they need life force, nutrition, oxygen, water, movement and rest.
Good nutrition = healthy cells, healthy body, healthy shape!

Open your eyes with this easy to read, informative eBook and learn how your every day eating choices are affecting your health and waistline and what to do about it!

Everyday Nutritional Mistakes Making You Fat - Jodie Hopkins, BSc

    Introduction

Exercise & Nutrition is your medicine! It is your prescription, and in most cases is far more effective than actual medications.

The world is full of contradictory nutritional information, people are confused more than ever. Do we eat red meat or not eat red meat, do we drink milk or not drink milk? Carbs or no carbs?

It is really hard to work out what we should be eating daily and what is in the best interest for us. Research is always proving things different over time, or it comes around again. A bit like fashion?

We generally want to eat better as a whole, but some times we want to enjoy some not so good stuff that tastes yummy anyway. But…. what to eat?

    FEED THE BODY!

Anyone can tell you exactly what to eat. There are plenty of diet and nutritional books out there that are doing that.

I'm not going to do that. I haven't written this nutritional e-book just to tell you how and what to eat. It's written to help you make your own decisions, to get informed; to decide what is best for your body based on the information that is available to you; to help you make some sense out of all of the confusion out there in nutrition.

The one thing I really want you to understand is that despite what a food or meal tastes like, despite how much energy it provides you, at the end of the day, the food you ingest daily has a primary aim. This number one aim is to provide your body with nourishment in order to feed all your cells in your body, to grow and heal and move. Also is it actually food or pretending to be food?

Our trillions of cells are functioning every second of the day, and they need life force, nutrition, oxygen, water, movement and rest.

Good nutrition = healthy cells, healthy body!

If we are deficient in vitamins, minerals, enzymes, amino acids, essential fatty acids, anti-oxidants or water, there is a slow and progressive decline in our health and energy and well-being. Our quality of life slowly diminishes without us even realising. You may feel great, but you really don't realise how good or bad you are feeling until you get a big wake-up call or you make necessary changes in your life. Then you can look back and see how you were really feeling. How you looked, how you moved? Now how much better do you feel, making the comparison?

If you change this mindset, to focus on food being there to grow your cells and to provide nutrition for your body, you will quickly learn what is actually good for you and what is not. You don't have to eat like this all the time, but a fair chunk of the time. This will benefit your body the most, as well as allow you to enjoy your dining experiences and some of the finer things in life that food has to provide for you.

I still like that 80:20 rule. You know, eat for nutrition and health 80% of the time and eat 20% of your day not so healthily, if it so happens. Your sanity finds this much easier to follow and enjoy, plus it is much easier to follow for a lifetime… because after all, this is how you should eat for the rest of your life, not for just a few weeks on a diet. And we do live in a modern world.

You want to look good, you want to move good, and you want to feel good! Everyday! You deserve this!

Most people are in a state of Nutritional Starvation. Meaning, that they could be eating loads of food each day, but the body may still be 'starving nutritionally'. This can be due to a number of factors like: nutrients being void or destroyed in the food that you're eating, there could be certain nutrients missing in your diet, that you are not digesting your food properly, or not absorbing the nutrients.

You could be continuously dehydrated too, and confusing this with hunger. The body will keep crying out for water and foods with water content. If you keep eating dry food, and forget to drink enough water, there are plenty of ramifications. Nourish your body rather than just eating. Eat more REAL foods. Not modern foods that are too few in nutrients, of poor quality and in an un-natural state that our bodies can't use. But most of all, eat foods that have life force within them, which will be transferred into you.

Biologically 'live' food will pass to you the vital energy and nutrients which no-one even knows how to put into supplement bottles. I think it's way better to eat your food with life force rather than supplement all the individual missing nutrients that junk food is missing. Don't you?

ALL FOOD EITHER NOURISHES US OR IT POISONS US!

Of course there are some pretty confusing facts out there, where two experts will completely contradict each other's comments. Which one do you believe? Well they might both be right or wrong, for different individuals or different situations, or one might be more effective for you and not for another person?

This is why one diet alone has not succeeded. We are all so unique, with completely different functioning bodies. A tomato could be a cure for one person and a poison to another! So this is what you spend your lifetime doing…. looking for signs and symptoms, where your body is telling you what makes you feel optimal and what makes you feel sick and low in energy.

If you keep your eyes open
