Gerri is considered one of the country’s top experts on consumer and small business credit.. Her first book, The Ultimate Credit Handbook was named one of the top five personal finance books of the year by Money magazine when it was released. She is also the co-author of Invest In Yourself: Six Secrets to a Rich Life and Reduce Debt, Reduce Stress: Real-Life Solutions for Solving Your Credit Crisis. Gerri has been interviewed in thousands of radio, television, and print news stories, including USA Today, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Dateline NBC, The Today Show and many others. She has testified before Congress and worked on reform of the national credit reporting laws. She holds a Master’s degree in Adult Education/Psychology from Norwich University and a B.A. in International Business/Political Affairs from Taylor University. About Co-author Mary Reed Mary Reed is a personal finance writer who writes about consumer money and legal issues in her own name and also ghost writes books and magazine articles on those topics for clients. To date, she has written or ghostwritten 21 books.
