Felicity Falls in Love
A Short Romance Story
Chapter One
Felicity Porter picked up the pile of letters from the doormat and headed into the kitchen. It had been a hard day at work and all she wanted to do was put the kettle on, have a nice cup of tea and relax. It was Friday night and she should have been out on the town like most single ladies her age but she yearned for the comfort of her oversized sofa and a packet of her favourite Crinkle Crunch biscuits. While the kettle boiled away, she got changed into a pair of comfortable leggings and a t-shirt. Looking at the letters, she could tell they were mostly bills but there was one envelope that stood out. It was cream coloured and when she saw the hand-writing she smiled in happy recognition. It was a letter from her best friend, Sarah. She would know that writing anywhere. Sarah had taken a calligraphy course and her penmanship was superb.
