Stephen Law is Senior Lecturer in Philosophy at Heythrop College, University of London. He is also editor of THINK: Philosophy for Everyone, a journal of the Royal Institute of Philosophy. Dr. Law's books include The Philosophy Gym: 25 Short Adventures in Thinking and The Philosophy Files (for children 12+). His new book Believing Bullshit describes "eight 'intellectual black holes' that seem to lend credence to scientifically or rationally incorrect propositions", the description and exposition of which "will help readers identify and critique illogical arguments."
