! Did you know that twenty-ve million people immigrated to America during the

industrial Revolution? This is only one of the many reasons why we have to make it easier to immigrate legally into our country. If we put this into action, less illegal immigrants will come into our illegally. At the same time, we have to make America more aware of why were doing this. We came here for a better life, why not let them? ! One reason why we should follow through with this plan is the amount of people

who immigrated to America during the Industrial Revolution is astonishing. Twenty-ve million people! Not to mention if we were to stop allowing people to immigrate it would go against our American Morales. Just like when the Chinese Exclusion Act of 1882 was put in place. For ten years Chinese werent allowed to immiIf Americans still believe that people from other countries come here to leach off of us, theyd be wrong. Forty-one percent of Fortune 500 companies were founded by an immigrant or the child of an immigrant. Forty-eight percent of Americas top fty venture-backed companies, as ranked by Dow Jones VentureSource, have at least one immigrant founder. Twenty percent of Inc. Five hundred CEOs were born outside the U.S. Among the ten U.S. Universities that produce the most patents, foreign-born inventors are responsible for eighty-four percent of IT patents. ! Not to mention when strict policies where put in place in Arizona, the state

actually lost money. The policy led to a job shortages. In only the construction sector

fty-six thousand full-time jobs, (for both citizens and non-citizens) and $6.6 billion dollars were lost. As Kerry Howley noted, When immigrants leave, they take jobs with them. ! By they way, the U.S. has over three hundred thousand H-1B visa requests per

year. As a country, we normally cap the amount of visas to eighty-ve thousand per year. No wonder why its easier to just come here illegally. ! With all this being said, some people may actually believe we need to close our

country off. Thats all well and good, but must we remind them where their ancestors came from? Skeptics may believe that immigrants are lazy and live off of welfare when they immigrate to America. My aforementioned data obviously states that no such thing occurs. ! So as you can see this solution is the best. We focus on what America was

founded on, which was immigrants. To this day its only bluntly obvious that we need immigrants to help us.
