The T2000 local craft terminal (LCT) realizes the local maintenance and equipment turn-up of Huawei OptiX products. The iManager T2000 (T2000 for short) is a subnet management system (SNMS) for transport networks. The T2000 manages the full series of Huawei OptiX products. The T2000 supports all functions of the NE layer and some of the network layer management functions. The iManager T2100 (T2100 for short) is a network-level management system that uniformly manages the full series of Huawei OptiX products. It manages large-scale optical transport networks in a uniform manner. The iManager MDS (MDS for short) is a business-level management system for transport networks. It assists users to plan and simulate an optical transport network.

To use the T2000 Web LCT to configure and manage NEs, you need to connect the T2000 Web LCT to NEs with an Ethernet
Procedure
By using a network cable 1. Connect a network cable to the computer where the T2000 Web LCT resides. 2. Route the network cable to the equipment side and connect the RJ-45 connector of the network cable to the network management interface on the front panel of the equipment.
Page 26
Procedure (continued)
By using DCN 1. Use a network cable to connect the computer where the T2000 Web LCT resides to the DCN. 2. Connect one end of another network cable to the network management interface on the front panel of the equipment. Connect another end to the DCN.
By using an RS 232 serial port cable 1. Connect the serial port cable to the computer where the T2000 Web LCT resides. 2. Route the serial port cable to the equipment side. Connect the RS 232 connector of the serial port cable to the RS 232 interface on the front panel of the equipment.
