Have it in yo ur inventory and when you talk to a Snorlax youll wake it up and battle. Q. I cant do anything in Esmerald City! A. Check your Key Items and USE the Steam Uniform. While wearing it you can ente r the Botanical Building (the big one) and take out Team Steam! Q. Where can I find Eevee? A. After defeating Team Steam in Esmerald City, have less than six pokemon in yo ur party and talk to the guy on the bench next to the Gym. He will give you an Eevee egg. Q. How can I enter the National Park's Pokemon Catching Contest? A. Sorry, you can't. The event just isn't active. Q. Argh! Bagon wont move! A. Talk to him from the right side. Q. Where is the Snowce City Gym Leader? A. 1) Make sure you've talked to Solana in front of the Snowce Pokemon Center, 2 ) talk to the leader in the 1st room of Mt. Icestorm, 3) make sure you talk to her a secon d time by the route 414 exit of Mt. Icestorm. Q. How do I evolve ___________? Here I'm going to assume you have basic knowledge of computer files. E xtract and run Lunar IPS, click Select IPS Patch and choose the Light PLatinum (English).ip s file. It'll ask you to select a file to patch, choose the clean Ruby rom (0907 - Pokem on - Ruby Version (U) (v1.0).gba if you got if from the above link). You get a message say ing that it was successfully patched. Open VBA, select Options>Emulator>Save Type>Flash 1 28k. Now File>Open and open the now patched Ruby Rom file. /------------------------------------------------------------------------| III. Walkthrough | -------------------------------------------------------------------------/ =========================== PL-1. Introduction Sequence =========================== Starts off just as any other Pokemon game, an introduction, boy/girl and name. Y ou dont get to pick your rivals name this time however, we all like their names to much. You start off in a dream sequence, with Arceus surrounded by Palkia, Dialga and Gratina. A recus disappears, everythings starts shaking and then you wake up in your bed in Yello w Town. Head to the stairs and your mom will come up with a message from Prof. Jasmine a sking you to go to Central City. Shell also ask you to set the clock. Leave the house, and immediately Kaori (the current champion of the Zhery League) will show up and ta ke you to Central City on his Salamence. In Central City, Kaori will take you to the (empty) lake where youll meet Profes sor Jasmine and Ash. They have you translate the stone in the lake, and Prof. Jasmin e will decide that it needs to be destroyed. Kaori will take care of that with Empoleon and fill the lake. Ash and Kaori will take off and youll be jumped by a member of Team St eam that was hiding nearby. Professor Jasmine will ask you to pick a Pokemon to fight the Grunt. Charmander Lv5 19hp (Scratch, Growl) Squirtle Lv5 19hp (Tackle, Tail Whip) Bulbasaur Lv5 21hp (Tackle, Growl) *Fight* Poochyena Lv2 (15 exp)

After you defeat the Grunt, Jasmine will give you the Pokemon you chose. The Pro fessor will take you to her lab, talk to her and shell tell you to head to Marfeny Lake , easy of Central City to find Professor Oak for her. Talk to her again to receive a Pokeb all. Head back to Yellow Town! =========================== PL-7. Yellow Town =========================== Head into the Lab and Oak with show up to talk to Jasmine. Hes now off to the Ce ntral City Radio Tower, so lets head back! =========================== PL-8. Central City =========================== Freebies! Chikorita OR Cyndaquil OR Totodile Go into the Radio Tower and youll find you can access the 2nd floor now! Talk to Oak and hell give you a National Dex. After Kenta leaves, talk to Oak again and hell off er you 3 Pokemon. First hell offer you Chokorita. If you turn him down and talk to him ag ain hell offer Cyndaquil. Turn him down again and hell offer Totodile. Before you leave t he city be sure to stock up on Antidotes, those darn Venipedes and Whirlipedes coming up ha ve a nasty habit of poisoning your Pokemon. Shell inform you tha t Combee have invaded the city! Theyre blocking everything but the Pokemon Center. Before she heads back into the Woods Jessica says that the Combee are coming from the hive in the Woods and that shell reopen the Gym as soon as the Combee problem is solved. You cant do a nything in the City and you cant continue on so you might as well heal at the PC and head b ack into the Woods yourself. =========================== PL-13. Its very useful because it can learn both Lava Surf and regular Surf. Weird, but useful. It can also learn Rock Smash and Strength, four HMs for one Pokemon! Head north and meet up with Kenta. For those of you familiar with American cleaning products, this is the cleanest route in all of Zhery! Head to the north part of the route to meet Thomas, the Leader of the Dardusk City gym. Hell say a couple cryptic words and head back to Dardusk. Try to follow him south and youll find the way blocked by smashable rocks. To get HM06 Rock Sm ash you need to speak with the Hiker standing on the east side of the route, near the Po keball containing Silverpowder. Continue south along the route and youll soon encounter Kenta again.
