What key strategies that will be used to accomplish this goal? Make data part of an ongoing cycle of instructional improvement. Teach students to examine their own data and set learning goals. Establish a clear vision for school-wide data use. Provide supports that foster a data-driven culture within the school and district.

Maintain a school based ELA and Math inquiry teams. Professional Learning Communities will meet weekly according to the district data calendar to analyze student data and determine individual needs and strengths to plan instruction.
During staff meetings, designated grade level will share data celebrations and any short, data celebrations from other grade levels after.

administrators will create cultures of conversation and engagement by implementing learning opportunities aligned with the CCLS. For example: Text-dependent questions & evidence Math Practice Standards Differentiation based on assessment data Increased academic conversations and writing
What are the key strategies that will be used to accomplish this goal? Basing professional development on student performance results/analysis and use of data. Focus professional development on key implementation strategies for standards, data, and assessment. Emphasize school based professional development such as team and department collaboration, and data, sharing and research based instructional strategies. Continue school based book studies. Discussions of data, sharing and critiquing of student work and data-based dialogue at PLC and collaboration meetings leading to requests for professional development.
