Current version being used is NAMIS-10 (X) It is approved for NATO networks (NS, IS, KS, NU, PAN) All NATO locations migrated until Dec 2011 Originally, planned to be used until 30 June 2012 NAMIS licenses would be extended if VISME is delayed

VISME project status


Contractor performed site surveys in SepNov 2011 VISME IS established to support the project FAT performed at Toulouse on 31Jan03Feb 2012 Security Test & evaluation to be in May2012 VISME deployment planned for JunSep 2012 at SHAPE, ISAF and KFOR (Naples and Brunssum?) FOC and Final Acceptance planned for Nov 2012.

NAMIS & VISME future


UK Met Office provides licenses and support for the upgraded version - NAMIS-10 SHAPE is still concerned about the functionalities delivered within the VISME Local Client NCSA is concerned about the supportability of the VISME project Discussion is still ongoing VISME implementation timeline is shifting and delays should be expected so, NAMIS must be used longer
