Alumni Working Group Meeting

Fourth meeting of the 2013 year, July 7th 22.00 p.m. (CEST)

Attendance:
- Arnau Mir - Ioannis Tsagarliotis - Jan Eller - Carlos Gonzlez - Marcus Kunze Absence: - Frederick Bauer It is the first meeting after re- organization of Alumni working Group. Ioannis Tsagarliotis has taken over coordination.

Agenda
a) Business Plan 2012-2013
Ioannis: First and more important issue is to check where are we at Business Plan 20122013 goals.

i)

Maintain relationship via News, Newsletters and Internet tools (e.g. emails, LinkedIn, Facebook)

Ioannis will take over it About newsletter: 4th edition is almost done. Arnau will complete it.

ii)

Focuses on the coordination and the organization of physical meetings for the Alumni during occasions like Air Shows

Will focus on it a month before the Air Show

iii)

Increase the number of members and the prestige of Alumni

It is first priority. Focus to infrastructure to attract alumni. Marcus will check how alumni are organized in Germany.

iv)

Trying to get a sponsorship or a partnership with societies where Alumni work

It is left for the future

v)

Creating more opportunities for Alumni to meet, not only during Air Shows, but also during International Events, especially Congresses

It is left for the future

vi)

One alumni per AS

It is a proposal that is been made but it is something that is difficult to be made.Carlos will contact BoP for it.

vii)

New corporate material by Public Relations WG to be used during Air Shows and similar occasions

Arnau will check what has been made.

viii)

Increasing usage of social networks

Ioannis will do it

ix)

EUROAVIA new website

Marco Marino has informed us about the new website of EUROAVIA. Content of Alumnis Working Group page is needed. Ioannis will take over it in cooperation with Marco Marino

x)

Canalizing Alumni contributions to News and Newsletter in the new Press WG, in order to have a greater unity between Students and Alumni .

b)

Alumni Association

It is an important issue. Many legal details to be discussed. Fred knows about it.

Lot of work is to be done.
