2013 has been a busy year. We moved to our new home at Allen & Unwin in January, and three publishers Diana Hill, Jane Morrow and Corinne Roberts have joined the team and are happily acquiring a collection of great books for the years ahead. You will find new books from some familiar faces: Neil Perry dishes up Simply Good Food, Peter Gilmore cooks up a creative storm and Adriano Zumbo reminds us that everything old is new again in Zumbo Riffs the Classics. Amanda Talbot gives us a book of inspiration and wellbeing through design in Happy, and Paris Cutler celebrates romance in cake form in Planet Cake Love. They are joined by a collection of newcomers. Elvis Abrahanowicz and Ben Milgate from Porteo bring us Recipes for a Good Time, and there are cookbooks by the remarkable Dan Hong from Sydney restaurant Mr Wong; Martin Benn of Sepia restaurant; and Anna Gare, co-host of televisions The Great Australian Bake-Off. Rob and Sophia Palmer recreate the allure of Morocco in Colour of Maroc, while Alistair and Teena Wises Sweet Envy and Natasha Collins The Painted Cake add sweet delights. Some things never change, however, and Murdoch Books is still bringing you the best illustrated books the world has to offer in food, design, gardening and craft. We look forward to working with old friends from our coediton partnerships and welcoming new ones. Call by the stand at Frankfurt and London book fairs and meet the team wed love to see you. Zumbo Riffs the Classics

Adriano Zumbo
For his third cookbook, top Sydney pastry chef Adriano Zumbo recreates some of the classic desserts we all grew up drooling over. As well as offering up his favourite recipes for these confections, he applies his Willy Wonka-esque genius to whipping them into two completely new incarnations that play on the original recipe. As always, the colours are bright, the flavours unexpected, and the experience of recreating the fruits of his fertile imagination a complete delight.
