I am requesting fundin g for police technology upgrades.

The entity to rece ive funding for this project is the Sangamon County Sherriff' s Office, I Sherriff' s Plaza,
Sprin gfield, IL 62 701 .

The funding would be used to fund a new vio lent crime investigatio n intiative, make technology upgrades
fo r the SherrifT s Department including new court sec urity cameras, new video v isitation system,
computer upgrades. new servers and a new X-Ray Machine.

I certify that neither I nor my spou se has any finan cial interest in this project.

I certify that thi s request will be made publicl y avai lable on my Official Website as required by Cha irman
Obey ' s new Comminee po licy that only posted requests wil l be considered.

Add itionally, I hereby certify that to the best of my knowledge th is request (1 ) is not di rected to an entity
or program that will be named after a sining Member o f Congress (2) is not intended to be used by an
entity to secure fund s for other entities unless the use o f funding is consistent with the specified purpose
of the eannark; and (3 ) meets or exceeds all statutory requirements for matchi ng fund s where appl icable.
