With satisfaction,we announce to you the foundation of

«Organisation for the Human Rights of Families of missing and fallen
during the Cypriot Tragedy 1974».

We are the relatives of Greek missing officers, noncommissioned

officers and enlisted men that are missing since 1974 during Turkish invasion
in Cyprus.

Believing, that the existence of missing in action regardless citizenship,

religion or citizen hood, in all longitudes and latitudes of earth, has exactly
the same disastrous consequences in the life of their families and these
consequences are doubt, confusion, fear, anxiety and untold suffering and
pain,

Experiencing, this traumatic situation for 35 years-these are years

where agony fights hope and desolation fights pain,

We search intensively for their fate because we have information that

some of them were guided as undeclared prisoners of war to prisons in Turkey
and that's why we have the moral obligation to keep all written, unwritten
and moral laws to find out about their fate.

Some believe that our beloved relatives are a "legend". This is not true,
our missing relatives are not creatures of fantasy, they existed and we are the
witnesses of their existence because we lived with them, we have memories
and we love them.
We have the right to know. We have the right to bury them as heroes
or keep searching until we will find them.

Hoping that by your full support,we will achieve the best outcome in
this critical humanitarian field, which is to find out about the fate of every
Greek missing person since 1974 during Turkish invasion in Cyprus,

Highly convinced, of your contribution and support, we deeply thank

you and we remain at your disposal.

With Regards,

The President The special secretary

Mairy Kouroupi Dimitrios Alexopoulos

Spouse of the missing in Cyprus since 1974

Greek Colonel Pavlos Kouroupis.
