Order: This Writ Petition is filed for the following substantive relief:
to issue an appropriate Writ, order or direction, more particularly one in the nature of writ of Mandamus to declaring the action of the respondents 1 and 4 in awarding the dealership of retail outlet of HPCL at D. Hirehal, SH-19 within 3 KMs from AP- Karnataka border on RHS (Bangalore-Bellary Road) Anantapur District in favour of the fifth respondent is arbitrary, illegal and against the principles of natural justice and consequently direct the respondents 1 to 4 to award the dealership of retail outlet of HPCL at D. Hirehal, SH19 within 3 KMs from AP- Karnataka border on RHS (Bangalore-Bellary Road) Anantapur District in favour of the petitioner

On 02-11-2012, the case was adjourned at the request of the learned Counsel. On 09-11-2012, there was no representation for the petitioner. Hence, the case was adjourned. Even today, when the case is called, there is no representation for the petitioner. Hence, it is reasonable to presume that the petitioner is not interested in pursuing his cause in the Writ Petition. The Writ Petition is, accordingly, dismissed for nonprosecution. As a sequel, WPMP.No.43200 of 2012, filed by the petitioner for interim relief, is disposed of as infructuous.
