"Rescissions and the Public Opinion: Problems of Health Care Reform" Jonathan Bernstein (The Washington Post) The Affordable Act care, or Obama care, has been proposed for 3 years now. What I found most interesting was that a lot of this reform has already been implemented and about 85-90% of people are unaware that they are benefiting from it already. It is believed that by this next year, the percentage in favor will significantly decrease. The real major changes that will be seen with this new health care will be in the people who have not had access to health care, will now have their chances. The fact that there have already been changes in health insurance with people still unaware will greatly affect this reforms popularity from here on. "Health Care Reform Survey Shows Public Divided and Unaware About Key Benefits" Jeffrey Young (Huffington Post) As revealed in other online articles such as The Washington Post, CBSNEWS, NPR, ect... The public remains unclear as to what exactly Obama care offers to them. Therefore, the public is being heavily influenced by the various political parties involved. All majorities remain in an unfavorable vote while the democrats are the only ones with a 58% vote in favor of the reform. The past three years, the votes in favor have progressively decreased. What I found most interesting, but yet not much of a surprise, was that in a recent poll, 57% of the public felt that they were left with too little information and too much confusion to form a proper vote and opinion. Public Opinion of the Health Care Law (CBSNEWS 2012) online article

Preventative Healthcare Annotated Bibliography In this article, the publics opinion about the current health care reform does not vary by much.

Those in favor of the new reform have never so much as reached 50%. The public agrees that either certain important issues be changed or completely reconstructing our health care is necessary for any improvement. I found it interesting that as much as 77% would prefer a completely new health care while only 19% this that the health care available now should stay the way that it is. I believe that it would be a much better idea to work on the important issues that are being faced right now with our current health care and change those for the better. The main point that is being made here is to inform the people about the current events now taking hold in regards to the new health care reform. It is offering information about the publics opinions and how they have somewhat remained the same from the reformation that was first debuted in 2010. Selling Health Care Reform (The Editorial Board Sept.2013) article What interests me about this article is that it talks about how a good part of the population is still pretty unclear as to what exactly this new health care reform is offering. I have tried to inform myself and ask others what exactly is happening; however, I only end up more confused or I receive different answers from different people. In order to clear this up, former president Bill Clinton, President Obama, and Vice President Biden are all going on a long trip in order to better inform the public on this reform. President Obama is confident that once people are able to fully understand the concept, the more they will be in favor of it. I disagree with this statement due to the fact that this new reform has been a hot topic for a few years now and according to the CBSNEWS article discussed above, the in favor votes have never even reached 50%. The main point of this article is to

Preventative Healthcare Annotated Bibliography discuss the confused and possibly misinformed masses and what exactly is taking place by the White House in order to fix it.

How do Americans really feel about Healthcare? Linda Wertheimer (NPR 2009) News article This is a pro-Obama care article in regards to the men who were interviewed for it. Mr. Andrew Kohut is from the Pew Research Center for the People and the Press and he discusses that the confusion and unfavorable votes from the people are just resulting from misunderstanding. People seem to be worried about government becoming too involved with their healthcare and about the possibly increasing costs. What was most interesting was how Kohut states that the people are only in favor of what they hear. I agree with this statement because there is so much confusion going around, the people are willing to listen to whoever can explain this reform as clearly as possible. This is why President Obama is traveling out west in order to better campaign Obama care to the public in hopes of changing minds.
