Therapeutic abortion
The therapeutic abortion has become a trend in this century because of the women liberation, and mainly because the human rights are increasing day by day in terms of how people manage its lives. Many problems and many arguments have raised around this problematic topic, one of them is that every woman should have the capacity to decide if they want to have a baby, or even if they want to keep a living being in their womb. Jarroud (2013) mentions that sometimes bad experiences could affect womens life, for instance: rapes, pregnancy problems incest and foetal abnormality. These are the cases in which therapeutic abortion becomes necessary to save a mothers life, so I think that women if they are in danger should be able to make a therapeutic abortion. First of all, it is argued that women should keep a life, even if that woman does not want to keep the baby; she should do that because she is maintaining that life. According to Polo (2007), abortion is a crime in several countries but many people think that abortion is a good alternative for problems that women could have during pregnancy; as a result, sometimes it is needed to advance and be concerned about both woman and child in progress lives. Furthermore, sometimes there are several reasons for women to consider this option because the situation to get pregnant was not allowed by a woman; in simple words, when women are raped they do not feel comfortable having a baby that a woman have not planned and get pregnant because of that. This is a very sensitive issue for therapeutic abortion because that life is being raised inside a woman and the child is no guilty due to the rape. There are many campaigns in favor of abortion, but no therapeutic, just domestic or illegal methods to abort that child. This reason make people think that it is the best way to let women choice and manage their bodies. (Burton, 2012) As a conclusion, therapeutic abortion is a very sensitive issue, especially for women because they are the ones who keep a baby and make humanity increase and remain. It is an issue that have to be solved by women discussed with men, however people must be careful with their opinions because always a life is important, even if that life has not be born.
