List 11 Letter y as i or e
Rule: If y is the only vowel at the end of a one syllable [one clap] word, it has a long /i/ sound; e.g. my, try. If y is the only vowel at the end of a two syllable word, it has a long /e/ sound; e.g. funny, puppy.

This is a hands-on approach to spelling. First, practice making words with the sounds of letters.
