The in ol ement o! parent"guardians in a students s#hool li!e, to me, is one o! the most important !a#tors$ % &as lu#'( enough to ha e a er( in ol ed parent, &ho helped me su##eed to &here % #urrentl( am$ %t is apparent, !rom obser ing parents &ho are less in ol ed, that those parti#ular students do not a#hie e as highl( as the( #an$ %n m( #lassroom, % &ill stress ho& important it is to get in ol ed and help an(&a( (ou #an &ith (our student$ )ot e er( parent #an be a *room mom+ and % do not e,pe#t that, % reali-e some parents are doing e er(thing the( #an$ .o&e er, simpl( as'ing (our student *&hat did (ou learn toda(/+ &ill ma'e them rethin' and enhan#e &hat the( had learned in #lass$ Another important !a#tor that deals &ith parent"guardians, is their o&n attitude to&ards learning$ 0erhaps the( had a bad e,perien#e in"&ith s#hool that ma'es them negati e to&ards it$ .o&e er, no matter &hi#h &a( the parent"guardian !eels to&ard s#hool, the( should ne er sa( *% hated s#hool,+ to their student$ This negati e attitude to&ards s#hool &ill be noti#ed and possibl( rub o!! onto the student, be#ause the parent"guardian is one o! the most in!luential person in a #hild1s li!e$ M( personal pre!eren#es, &hen it #omes to students beha ior, is !or them to be polite and #onsiderate to others$ % &ill en!or#e that the students use manners, their please and than' (ou2s, (es sir"ma2am, and be respe#t!ul$ Although religion is something that is not allo&ed in the #lassroom, % &ill not tolerate !oul language, &hi#h in#ludes the use o! *oh m( 3od$+ %
