I'm beginning to look around for Krampus Ev'rywhere I go; Take a look in the alleyway, gloomy as night again

With ominous chains and rattling panes aglow. I'm beginning to look around for Krampus Schnapps I start to pour But the scariest sound to fear is the knocking I will hear At my own front door. There's the shouting of youths and a clatter of hooves At the house of Silke and Sven; Swish of the birch and a run for the church At the home of Jutta and Jens; And Mom and Dad can hardly wait to open the door again. I'm beginning to look around for Krampus Ev'rywhere I hide; There's many a fiend a-grin, covered in hairy skin, The Passen floats, pulled by goats, they ride I'm beginning to look around for Krampus; Rusty bells will chime, There's a lauf in the street below, they're ready to start the show, You've run out of time!
