FINAL LEARNING CONTRACT Members: Ariane Toro, Nerea Mendicute, Araitz Zuazo Team: T1

Overall theme Our overall theme is going to be Art Creativity What is the overall theme? What because we would like to improve our creativity. In are you going to be working on? addition, we would like to help children to improve their innate creativity and also to value their creations. We are not sure about what kind of creation do with our students, because we do not know so much about how to impulse the creativity in our self and neither in children. For that reason, we are going to acquire some knowledge about that topic and after we are going to choose which creation can be the best to do it with our students.

To do that, we will read some articles to improve our knowledge on art creativity. With those articles, we are going to critique and rebuild our practices with interesting inputs, for example what kind of material to use, how to use it, how to evaluate our learning process and even how to do a creativity process. So all these process is going to serve to critique and analyze our knowledge on art creativity and also to evaluate our learning process during the following months.

Justification of the project Last year, we had the opportunity to put in practice Why did you choose this project? the theory learnt before. When we stayed at those Why do you think it is relevant? different schools, we saw that the children did not improve their creativity because the teachers were not conscience of the relevance of that fact. Therefore, the teachers sometimes stopped the childrens children creativity built development different, instead of impulsion that. Taking into account some teachers attitude, we can say that they do not let children develop their creative capacity. So we would like to improve that innate capacity with children, but we think that first of all we have to improve and develop our own creativity. The teachers told us about the relevance of the diversity. Some of them told us that the diversity is a marvelous thing that we have to use to learn more about the life and even about our peers. Furthermore, we think that the creativity impulses that diversity, so we would like to impulse that creativity to be unique and creative people and to learn from each other, as well. Finally we have to say that, art creativity is very important for everyone because art makes us see the life differently. For that reason, we believe that it is essential to improve the creativity in our own self and even in our future students because if the person has creativity he/she is going to be special and unique, thereby enriching our society.

Define Objectives of Project We would like to improve our own creativity because What do you want to achieve with we think that the best way to work this topic with this project? children is firstly working individually. To start working individually, on the one hand we thought of interviewing a person who works in the art world and on the other hand we thought of searching some information about how we can impulse the creativity in teachers and also in students. Once we get the necessary information from the two mentioned sources we are going to start working in our experiences trying to learn and put in practice different techniques to work on our creativity. As a final creation we hope to create an artistic monument, but we do not know what and how is going to be that monument yet. We will see during the process and we are going to decide taking into account what we have learnt during the learning process. Moreover we hope to create that creation together but as said before we are not very sure how and what kind of thing is going to be. In conclusion we have to mention that during this process we wish to improve some attitudes, methodologies or capacities in our self. For example; the capacity of critique our own creativity and other peoples creativity, the capacity of think creatively, strategies to develop the creativity in teachers and students, to learn to evaluate the creative creations, etc. Apart of the facts mentioned we also hope to develop our written, reading, speech and in general our English skills, because our learning process is going to be in English. In conclusion, we are going to develop our own creativity, we are also going to identify appropriate techniques to promote creativity among children and analyze experts' points of view.

So with this project we are going to wide our knowledge on art creativity and improve our speaking skills.

Responsibilities of the members What is each member going to do so as to What is each member going to do successfully achieve your aims? so as to successfully achieve your aims? The aim of the project is going to be basically to learn to use our creativity and know how to impulse that in the future in our self and in our students, as well. All of us think that the last course we have not develop it as much as possible and we would like to follow developing it more, so we thought that this can be a good time to do it. All of the group members are going to search some information about our topic and after they are going to share the information searched with the others members. To identify what kind of information can be good for our project we are going to organize some meetings, where are going to decide between all peers what kind of statements are the best. Moreover to correct our grammar and spelling we thought to correct everything between all work peers because we think it is the best way to correct our work. To sum up, we can say that Nereas role is going to be linked to the technologies, Araitzs role will have relation

with the practices of the theories and inputs in the classroom, and Arianes role with the ideas of how to do the things we have planned like get the interview with Amaia, Ixiar and Joserra or get the cameras to record the interviews.

So Nerea is going to have the responsibility to design and actualize our blog. Ariane and Araitz are going to have the responsibility to write the questions for Joserra Vitoria, Ixiar Rozas and Amaia Urzains interview. After, we are going to share the questions between the group peers to correct the questions and maybe add or take off some of them. At the moment of the interview we are going to be the three peers of the group Nerea is going to record the interview and Ariane and Araitz are going to question the interviewee and maybe ask some other questions thought at the moment of the interview. So we can say that most of the tasks we are going to do will be done in group and few of them individually. Although that we thought to do some individual tasks we will decide everything in group so the individual work is going to be very few.

Forms of communication e.g. by email/face to face meetings/through wiki/ web courses How are you going to communicate with your team members, peers, tutor and others?

Each of us is going to be far from the others, so we will try to communicate by email, whatsapp, Skype and telephone. When one of us wants to communicate with others she is going to think which one is best to communicate with us. In addition, if it is necessary we are going to organize face to face appointments when we have to come to the university.

Moreover, to communicate with our tutor we are going to send an email before the appointment asking her when she can speak with us. When we have the appointment, we are going to write her saying we want speak with her so that both parts will know what the topic is going to be.

Decisions How are you going to make decisions? Which How are you going to make strategies will you use? decisions? Which strategies will you use? In our project, to make decisions, we are going to put Which decisions will you make? in common our ideas with the other group members. For that reason, we are going to respect and listen to other ideas and value all of them. Furthermore, we will share our ideas and decisions in every meeting, giving reasons about our decisions and justifying our ideas. Once we have shared the ideas, we are going to think in the group if that decision is good for us or not taking account our objectives. Finally we would like to mention that all contribution is going to be valued and welcome. Which decisions will you make? The decisions that we are going to take are going to be focused on trying to arrive to our objective, in our case increase the knowledge about the art creativity topic. During the process we have to decide which information to use to nourish our knowledge. In addition, we have to determinate the questions which we need to prepare for the interview of three artists. We also have to decide what kind of facts improves it and even what kind of creation built. Emergencies/contingencies: What will you do if ... a member goes missing or is We think that if one of the members has to miss one day or she has not filled the compromises is

But in the case of that member has missed more than one and the reasons are not strong or if she has not filled the compromises again, we are going to speak seriously with her and explain her what the situation is. Moreover, if we start to have serious problems with one of the members we are going to be strict and give the last warning. If the member does not rectify, we will take away that member from our group after speaking with our teacher of course. Furthermore, if the people that we want to interview: Amaia Urzain, Ixiar Rozas or Joserra Vitoria couldnt cooperate with us, we will focus on our own experiences and our acquaintances (classmates, other university teachers, family, neighbors, friends ). As if this were not enough, it could be interesting interviewing people of our cities/towns who work in the areas of art or creativity.

Set target dates/timeline When are your tasks going to be due? How are you going to organize your project? When are you going to meet your tutor?

We have thought doing different activities to acquire more knowledge about the art creativity concept. So we have to put some dates to arrange our work. First of all we thought to collect information about the creativity, like the relevance that it has in our lives. We would like to know about the positives and negative aspects of the development. In addition, we thought to share that information for the 28th of October. Furthermore, we would like to know what kind of questions we have to prepare to ask to our interview and collect valuable information. So once we have collected and shared the main information about our topic we are going to start thinking the questions

for the interview. The questionnaire of the interview is going to be prepared by the 4th of November, so that day will meet again to decide if the questions prepared are good or not or even if we have to change something. To finish this information acquirement we are going to prepare the appointments to speak with the people we have chosen to do the interview. We are going to try to put the appointments between the 11th and 15th of November. Furthermore, we though do one meeting between the work peers to talk about the information we have acquired while the interviews. This is going to be about 18th or 22th of November. Despite of that, we are going to make another meeting to start practicing what we have learned with the information acquired. This is going to be between the 25th of November and 29th of December. While we are doing this, we think to do another meeting where each peer is going to describe shes practice. This is going to be about 4th and 9th of December. Moreover, we thought that it can be a great idea to share our experiences with the work peers, like this we are going to learn from each others. After, we thought that maybe it can be good idea to set a meeting with our tutor to tell her about our process and the next steps. To do that, we are going to try to set the appointment with her the days that we have to come to the university because two of us live far from it.

Finally we are going to take account the teachers feedback and recommendations and we will continue with our work. We hope that with that knowledge we are going to acquire interesting information so to carry out our learning process we will make an art creation in cooperation. Previously mentioned art creation, is going to be a group product that will reflect the point of view of each group member. We want to do this production, because we believe that the artistic creations can be more enriching if they are done with other people, because each person have has a different thinking about anything, in this case Art Creativity.

Strategies and Resources How are you going to achieve your aims?

To achieve our aims we thought to interview the teachers of the last course. For example, we think that it can be a good idea to interview Joserra Vitoria, Ixiar Rozas and Amaia Urzain. In that interview we would like to know how we can improve our creativity and even the children creativity. Furthermore, we have agreed to find some information on the internet and also to ask our practices tutor how she improves that fact on herself and in her class, as well. However this group contract is going to be the first group contract and we are going to change things depending on our findings and our interest points, namely we are going to adapt our learning process to our necessities. Moreover, we are going to improve indirectly some abilities like learning to learn, how to do a successful group work, we think that those aspects will be worked thought the material that we are going to use.

Because we think that is better to us use information in English to improve the language. For that reason, we are going to try to find information in that language. We are conscious that use this English in all the process is going to be difficult, because we cant ensure that all the people that is going to be part in our process (teachers, experts ) know it. But we can assure that English is going to be the main language in the communication between group members. We are going to use English to make decisions, effective communication, etc. Despite of working indirectly the mentioned capacities we think that they are very important for our future profession, so we are going to do an effort to develop as much as possible those capacities. As we have mentioned before, we are going to do different interviews. In the case of experts (A. Urzain, I. Rozas and J. Vitoria) we are going make questions about general aspects of creativity. In other instance, we are going to ask about children creativity and creativity at school to the teachers. For that reason, the focus is going to be a little different in both cases. Also, we think that maybe any question can be changed depending that we see/or receive about creativity in practices period (in January). In the case of English language, we have detected some weaknesses, especially in grammar and writing, for that reason we have accord some commitments: -Help to each other group when it was necessary -Ask to our English teacher -Try to found the information in English: to learn,

improve and enrich our vocabulary -Inform to the other group members if we found any interesting material to improve English (websites, exercises) So we are going to try to do a collaborative process taking account our different knowledges in all the aspects, not only English (speaking, new technologies ). We want to use our strengths, to do the fullest project as we can.

Verification/Evaluation In the end of this project, we are going to analyze if How will you prove that you have we have arrived to our initial goal. To do so, we are achieved your aims? That you have learned what you established as a going to take a look to all the process that we have goal initially? done since we have started and reflect on it, value what we have learned and if it is useful to our lives and future teacher profiles. Although the first and the final evaluations are important to realize when the process has a principle and final. But in our case, we think that the most important evaluation is the one which guides our process during the process. We are conscious that during the process we are going to find new objectives or new necessities so that evaluation is going to permit us to meet our necessities. To do that evaluation we think to ask the following questions; What we have learned?, What are we going to find and learn next?, What we would like to find or learn?, Do you think that the learning process is significant and useful for you?, You will change something in the organization, evaluation or any objective?... Moreover, we thought to evaluate the group work,

our self-work and the group peer work as well. To do that we are going to fill the diary were we are going to take notes about our process, our compromises, our feeling about the work that we have done, ect. The table we have designed to do this is going to be available in our blog and we are going to try to fill it every meeting that we will have. Finally we have to say that we are going to complete this questionnaire always we have an appointment to share the ideas and purpose new tasks. Like this we are going to evaluate the tasks we have done before and redirect the new ones.

Decide on video and final presentation. Which resources are you going to use to create your final video? How and where are you going to upload it? How are you going to give your presentation? How will it be organized or structured?

Our idea is to record the process that we have done during the learning process. For example, in our schools (if it is possible, it depends of the privacy policy of the school) or maybe take photos or take evidences (productions, photocopies) of creative children productions and the same with our own creations. We thought to record different moments of our projects process and at the end we will sum up everything we have learned in a video. Moreover, we thought to finish the video with our last creation showing all classmates what we have done and if the teaches wants it we are going to share with her our video. Despite of the video we are going to complete the questionnaire that we have mentioned before to guide our learning process and even one written work explaining all the process we have done.
