Exhibit: The New Moderates Guidelines Sheet Benchmark: Academics Skills: Electives Class Top work/ current issues

In current issues my sophomore year we were assigned a project with a partner to develop a new Political Party. In this party we were to list our views on the basic problems facing America currently. I partnered up with Lindsey Chinavare, and we both came to a compromise on each position. This project was good to state my beliefs to the public and also the situation of partnering with someone who may not have the same values as me. At first the project was hard. I had a more right wing views while Lindsey had a left wing view. But we decided this would become a moderate party so we could have a compromise. We called ourselves the New Moderates. We had an equal view. Some examples may be our Environmental policy. We are all for a healthy environment but we are also for with offshore drilling and using our mineral resources. This exhibit is a great example to show compromise between two who have some opposite opinions. In a career it is very important to have a compromise between your fellow coworkers. In daily life you want to be able to compromise with the people around you. Arguing against the opinions of others can cause bad things to happen.
