A Team Approach: Class is set up in teams for collaboration. Rarely is learning done alone especially in science, so we model that in our class with the team roles of manager, supplier and reporter.

A typical week: 1. Unit vocabulary is given and regularly assessed. Students regular review is expected 2. A notebook is kept daily and other class work and labs are completed and graded. Hands-on approach to learning is used both Math and Science.

3. Each Wednesday the current grades are posted and the missing work listed. A student has one week to complete the missing assignments before they are counted as a zero. 4. Homework is usually given Monday through Thursday. A students purple homework folder and agenda planner should come home every night and should have assignments listed. Homework NOTE: If a student spends more than 15 minutes on homework and still does not understand, the student can have an adult sign the homework for full credit. If the student does not understand the skill being practiced in the homework they must communicate this with the teacher. Lincoln Letter Grades: 5.
