WWF-Pakistans Eco Internship Programme 2012

For the past four decades, WWF-Pakistan has been committed to providing quality environmental education to raise awareness about Pakistans natural resources and environmental challenges. onsidering the lack of opportunities for students to get actively involved in environmental conservation, WWF-Pakistan decided to introduce the !co "nternship Programme in schools across Pakistan. #he Programme is a $ session long workshop giving students an insight into the eco dynamics and eco challenges of the region. #he sessions include !nvironment !%pert presentations, group work, hands on activities, documentaries, interactive discussions, creative challenges and enriching e%posure visits.

!tages of the Programme

1" Orientation !ession #he WWF-Pakistan team will visit the institution and inform students about the !co "nternship Programme through a motivational presentation. 2" Interactive sessions on ke# environmenta$ cha$$enges .essions will be engaging and interactive. #opics will include endangered species, water conservation, solid waste management, alternative energy, nature photography, ecological foot print and a number of other themes. %" E&posure trips #he students opting for the field trip will be taken to an ecological site.
