STUDENT RESEARCH ASSISTANT Agent Based Modeling & Simulation

This is for students preferably in Systems Engineering or one of the Computational Sciences to assist a team of software engineers supporting a professor and his students working on virtual worlds. Analyze data sets and quantify behavior and decision making. odel processes with one or more of! applied artificial intelligence" scientific#economic methods" or operations research techniques. $evise modeling and measuring techniques% utilize mathematics and statistics" systems engineering methods" agent based modeling" decision theory" and principles and laws of socio&economic disciplines. Create lightweight technical solutions using 'ython" a proprietary agent based modeling system" and biz intel packs. The (A will be responsible for data prep" assisting with design and tweaking of algorithms" running packages" conducting numeric analyses" and finding and graphing outcome metrics. There are positions for this semester" the summer and all of ne)t year including up to *+ hours per week of research during the school year and ,- hours#week over the summer.
