Project objectives To promote Pakistani culture through education programs; clustering young talent pool from all over Pakistan for foreign scholarships. It will boost the international image of Pakistan and simultaneously encourage scholarship programs at the schools (High secondary education institutions). UWC scholarship program acts as a medium to enhance analytical and critical skills of the deserving students. Most importantly provision of scholarship grants to 20 deserving students based on academic performance and cultural expertise. Approach Selection of appropriate focal persons for Karachi region and provinces one each in consultation with private and public school bodies Seminars will be held in major cities of each province Advertisement and marketing campaign for promoting awareness for scholarship program Partnership with NTS (National Testing service) in development of written screening test Development of cultural and behavioral test and structured interviews for final selection Separation of complete program into five different activities; Planning and partnerships, Promotional campaign, Intake of students applications, Testing and finalizing candidates, educating final candidates about foreign culture. Monitoring of activities after every one month Coordination with HEC on consistent basis.

Scope
The program is spread over five years (2014-2019) Initial promotional and other cost is within the range Rs.1 million-1.5 million 10 students from Karachi and 10 students from rest of Pakistan Students recently passed matriculation/ Olevel examination are eligible for this program Academic background : 90 % marks in both sciences and mathematics
