Just the thought of the street number sent chills down my
back.

Was I really to go down to a street like that?

But to my surprise would arise a small bakery, Amaranth its’
name.
Once inside I quickly realized just what a nook of
Heaven was located around such Hell.

Outdoors as I entered their were sirens and busts,

But inside Amaranth bakery was reading and books.
 Artistry displayed on every inch of the walls,

“We like to show local support”, says Dave Voucher as I inquire about
his opinions.
As I watched Dave and his wife work I realized one thing,
Within every neighborhood there is some good to be seen.

I exited the building feeling reassured,

Not even the police sirens seemed
to bother me .
