My mother made the biggest impact on my life by sharing her stories with me and showing me how hard she had to work to be successful when no one in her family had ever been. 2. Who do you most admire and why? My younger brother, Grant, because he has never been afraid to just be himself. 3. Who help you the most and how? My fianc helps me by supporting and encouraging me. 4. What event do you remember the most in your life? What is it and why do you remember it? I remember when my parents got divorced because we had to move and everything changed. 5. What is the happiest moment in your life? When my fianc proposed to me! 6. What are your goals? To be the best teacher I can be, to be there for my students when they need me, and to be a good, kind, and honest person. 7. When did you start your career? I started my teaching career when I became a substitute teacher in the spring of 2009. 8. When did you first decide to become a __teacher__? I have always wanted to become a teacher, but I also thought I might want to be a psychologist. I made my final decision to be a teacher after I graduated college in 2008. 9. When did you accomplish your goal? I became a full-time classroom teacher in 2013. 10. Where did you go to school? I went to Texas State University for my bachelors degree, as well as my masters degree.

I chose my career because I love it. 16. How did you find your job? A professor introduced me to Mrs. Brewer and Mrs. Brewer introduced me to Simon Middle School! 17. How long have you been working? I got my first job when I was 15, but I have been a teacher for one year. 18. How much do you get paid usually? I get paid enough to support my lifestyle. Generally, teachers get paid between $30,000 - $50,000 per year.
