Field Trip to Langley Centennial Museum

On Tuesday, April 29 Mrs. Cunninghams class and Mrs. S-Ks class will be busing to Fort Langley for field trips. As the Langley Heritage Society is providing a bus free of charge, we are co-ordinating two field trips on the same day, both within close proximity to each other, and that way both classes can cut down on expenses. The bus will depart from Langley Meadows at 9:15 a.m. and return at 12:45 p.m. Mrs. S-Ks class will be going to the Langley Centennial Museum in Fort Langley and Mrs. Cunninghams class will be going to Parks Canada, Fort Langley National Historic Site of Canada. Both classes will board the bus at approximately 12:15 p.m. for the return trip to school. Mrs. S-Ks class will be going to the Museum in Fort Langley to participate in a workshop on Fraser Valley Families. The program is docent led, so parents may come along, but will have limited involvement in the program. No siblings will be allowed to accompany us due to museum restrictions. There will be room on the bus for parent volunteers. Three parents will be needed as volunteers. We are not allowed to bring any food or drinks into the museum. At the end of our museum workshops, Mrs. S-Ks class will walk to Parks Canada at Fort Langley and meet up with Mrs. Cunninghams class and the school bus. Please ensure !

your child has a granola bar in their pocket. There will be a short waiting period while we are waiting for Mrs. Cunninghams class. We will eat our granola bars as we wait for Mrs. Cunninghams class. your child is dressed for the weather, especially if there is a rainy day forecast as we will be walking to Parks Canada.
