Jollibee Foods Corporation is widely
known as Jollibee
a fast-food restaurant chain based in the Philippines.
Founded by Tony Tan Caktiong, a Filipino Chinese in
year 1975
Currently it is the biggest fast-food chain in the
country, it also has locations in the United States,
Saudi Arabia, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Indonesia, Dubai
and Brunei.
As of December 2007, Jollibee has become one of the
biggest fast-food chains in the world with more than
600 stores worldwide and total sales of more than $1
billion, where out of that figure about 500 restaurants
are located in the Philippines itself.
Tony Tan Caktiongs Jollibee has been one of the most
admired, most copied, most innovative and most
professionally-run company here in the Philippines
With its success, a Jollibee franchise has now a tag
price of P25+ Million (US$ 500,000+).

Jollibee is also the name of their mascot, a large bee
in a blazer, shirt and chef's hat.
