"(Gone) Emancipation
(Gone) Race relation
(Gone) Most of the rebels are gone
(Gone) The trust in nation
(Gone) The time we're wastin'
(Gone) The people's patience is gone"
This song is about how o! track the world has become, and how we need to stop,
look, and react to the terrible situation that the world is in. The lyric is listing some of
the things we have lost in our day, and how we need to have those types of things
back in order for us to achieve a better world. The main theme of the lyric is that we
need to make a change.
The title "Red Light" symbolizes the need to stop.
The song's message is what makes it so poetic. It is empowering change by
speaking directly to the listener, saying straight up that something is wrong. This is
not the only artist to do this and this is not one of my rst logs where this was the
theme. This topic is being picked up on many di!erent occasions by many di!erent
people, and every time I see this theme the question of when change will occur
keeps on coming to me. I like and agree that a change needs to occur in everyone
to help better the world.

"Whos gonna save the world tonight?
Whos gonna bring it back to life?
Were gonna make it, you and I
Were gonna save the world tonight"
This lyric has a simple theme. Its down to you, motivate yourself to do what it
takes to bring some activity back. You can't sit back and wait for the world to
change and become a better place, you have to start with yourself. If we all wait
for "the other guy" to come and make a di!erence, then that "other guy" never
comes.
Regular song, no apparent symbolism.
The whole idea of making a change is a great theme. This song is poetic
because of its theme, due to the spark that it could re up inside of you to
look at yourself and change. I think that everyone should start from
themselves and make sure that you're the best you can be before asking
others to change.
