NOTIFICATION
Academic Assignments to be completed by Faculty

All the teaching faculty members are informed to complete the following preparations for the first
semester of 2014 15 and are required to submit the details as per the checklist to the respective head
of the departments duly completed by 26
th
June, 2014. It is expected that the faculty will utilize their
vacation for the said purpose, so that it will help them in effective delivery of theory and practical
courses.
Check list of academic assignments:

1. Course learning outcomes and mapping with PO for all courses assigned to faculty theory,
practical, tutorials and seminars etc. (Also provide unit wise outcomes).
2. Teaching / Course Plan:
This is not just breakup of contents in to 36 lectures, you should mention the teaching activities
and lecture wise were to get the outcomes. Faculty is expected to use multiple techniques to
promote better learning and should plan this for each lecture for better learning.
Plan should also be prepared for practical / tutorials.
3. Course file containing notes:
It is expected that faculty should prepare at least 6 handouts (in soft form) to be circulated to
students by referring to various books and journals etc. This will augment to learning and help
students to understand the concept better. Give detailed reference at the end of handouts.
4. Assessment Scheme and Plan of assessment with Schedule.
5. Question bank unit wise: You can make different categories based on Blooms taxonomy levels to
direct the students learning. (It is mandatory).
6. The industry training report, if undergone industrial training during vacation
