Invented in 1984
The 3D Printer gave the ability for engineers
to create their own products rather than
sending blueprints to shops
Inventor: Charles W. Hull (1st working
printer)
Materials
The original 3D printer was made using lots
of wood and screws
Mr. Hull used materials called
photopolymers that are typically acrylic-
based materials that would be liquid until
theyre hit with ultraviolet light
