The "NewTWonders Cities" is the third international competition by the
NewTWonders Foundation which aims to recognize the seven

best cities in the world that
has contributed immeasurably to human civilization. Today, the search for the New Seven
(7)
Wonder Cities is about to reach its final ohase.
From the 300 cities which qualified in October 2013, 2l cities are left to vie in the
competition and one of those is the lone candidate from the Philippines, which is the CITY
OF VIGAN. To ensure that the Ciry of Vigan will remain as a finalist until the announcement
of the Official NewTWonders Cities and hopefully win the competition on December 7, 2014,
we call on the full support of our countrymen for this cause and bring pride to every Filipino.
In view hereof, ali Local Chief Executives are hereby enjoined to extend frrll support to
this venture by undertaking promotional advertisements and campaigns to vote for the
Heritage City of Vigan by visiting the NewTWonders Cities website at

All DILG Regional Directon and the ARMM Regional Governor, through the DILG-
ARMM Regional Secretary, are hereby enjoined to cause the immediate and widest
